Extra faction once you're fully unlocked

I have no idea what to do with all of my extra Balthazar faction now that I'm fully unlocked. I've always liked the idea of some sort of trader that can convert your faction into something usable or tradable. That way once you've earned it, it doesn't just go to waste after you're fully unlocked.

I have every rune, upgrade, item, insignia, inscription, skill, and elite skill unlocked but now I have the problem of all this extra faction that I can't spend. Here are my ideas, listed in order of importance:

1) A trader that can convert 1k faction into a flame of balthazar. This allows for the use of trading, buying, or giving faction away to other players. I have tons of friends that could use my extra faction and I would be willing to share or sell it. This allows PvP players to have a form of economy or a way to make money without having to play PvE.

2) Some sort of title based on Balthazar faction. The max could be some sort of insanely high number of 2million, or maybe even higher. I am fully unlocked at 900k and it would be cool to show a title to prove it. This could help players with lower Hero or Gladiator ranks to prove they have the ability to PvP. The flames of balthazar would not count towards this title so that you couldn't just buy the title like Ale hound or Sweet Tooth.

3) Remove the cap after you're completely unlocked. I don't know if this is something you would even consider, but for players that max at their cap and have nothing else to use it on, makes it suck when you make 200k+ faction before the next campaign and aren't able to spend it all on new skills. If you had flames of balthazar (stackable even), you could just store it away in storage.

Once again, these are just suggestions, different changes could be made, but I personally think that something needs to be changed once you're fully unlocked so that you are still rewarded for continuing to PvP. Thanks, any inputs are welcome!

faction is a tool for unlocking not a reward for playing.

when you are fully unlocked you have your 10k to spend on the next chapter.

No posts were new so it needed to be revisted. The topic hadn't been discussed with the addition of Balth cap increases and flames of balthazar. Why would the faction only be used as a tool for unlocking when Kurzick and Luxon faction can be turned in for rewards or towards a title? Those also have caps but have ways of spending without a means for ending.

Interesting idea. Personally I'm all for this as it allows people to profit of their Balthazar faction without contributing to inflation in-game (in fact, if ANET add an NPC trader for convenience this would become a gold sink). Assuming that the flames are stackable, this would allow people to also save up faction for the unlocks in the next chapter. Though I'd expect the price to crash quite quickly, only to pick up again around the release of new chapters, then crash again once people get UAX.

You can earn faction at the Zaishen challenge. Sure its got a cap (I think 2000 per day) but people would farm there for the title. Though for the title, I'd add the condition that the faction you earn doesn't count unless your already at UAX, and once a new chapter comes out you can't display it till you reach UAX again.

Then again, I'm not really that interested in titles. So I'm staying neutral on this one.

I'd say stick with the flame of balthazar idea, let people use that to store faction, as it seems to be a simpler idea with better effects. But if ANET wants to implement this one, I see no harm in it.

I mostly only PVE anyways but dabble in ABing every now and again, ok, well rarely. I can`t believe there is no rewards for PvPers and I dont do much as there is no rewards for PvPing except getting abused for tryn to learn, lol. I think its a great idea anyways and maybe i might try to PvP more often and even try GvG, until then have fun PvPing, you obviously love it and i think you should be rewarded better for all of your effort.

I don't like the PvP to market idea. PvP is 'make a character and play', 'go, go, go'. Out of market and such.

There is something that would really help PvP players. Those who earn titles can store more faction, but... what about GETTING faction by effort, not by skill and luck?

You go to a Priest, give 10k faction, and get an increase of 1k to store more Balthazar faction points. There would still be a limit of increase players can get by this way (100 or 200k, maybe), but after some battles, players would have enough points to unlock a lot of new skills of next campaign.
