Hi I was wondering whether an ele can farm ice imps. I can get hydromancer armor and stuff although the fact that they are not weak against fir eis disappointing.

My build is a bit more effective for ice imps

Ele/Ranger
Earth 16
Wilderness Survival 10
Energy storage 8 (or more with runes)

Tenai's Crystals
Crystal Wave
After shock
Sliver armor
Storm Chaser
Serpents Quickness
Obsidian Flesh
Stoneflesh Aura

Always keep stoneflesh Aura. Use Serpents quick ness then Obsidian flesh immediately. Obsidian flesh should recharge before serpents quickness runs out so cast it immediately before serpents recharges. When serpents quickness is recharging you can use storm chasers to refresh your energy.
Kill with sliver armor and Spam the other three skills, though not all at once.

This is for Farming outside grotto if you want to farm IDS it might work.

What about E/Me with Earth armour buffs and Mantra of Frost? Possible Arcane Echo + SS as well.

i use Shadow Form, ms, bed of coals, lava font, frozen busrt and flame busrt..takes a whole as the 60 secs recharge, but its safe and easy.

IDS would be nice but how would I get through umm the place outside of the outpost. Also do ALL imps in mineral springs drop IDSes?

Clear with henchies and flag them away. They're only dropped in the cave.
