The addition of insignia / inscriptions to pvp equipment creation (hell pvp equipment creation itslef for that matter) went a long way towards making little to no difference between a well equiped pve character in pvp and a quickly made pvp character as both now have access to all of the same mods, almost.
PvE Assassins and Warriors have a very slight advantage over their PvP counterparts in weapon selection still. The PvE versions can access daggers, swords and axes that do a different form of damage than their PvP counterparts. Slashing (Split Chakram) for daggers, Blunt (Jitte) for swords and Piercing (Piercing Axe) for axes. It's my opinion that some form of each of these should also be available for PvP character creation.
Yes, each of these could be put into storage and retrieved by a PvP character, but that would preclude the customization for +20% that PvP equipment has, unless you want to get a new copy of the weapon each time you make a new PvP character.

It's a (very) slight advantage to PvE characters in a game of balance... It shouldn't be too hard to fix, so /signed.
Also, you forgot piercing damage hammers!

Hmmn while its not an overly imbalancing aspect, it should still be corrected.
