bookmarking your current town/outpost/mission
lishi
Add a new window (like hero stat , observer mode , etc etc) where you basicly add current town/outpost/mission as "favorite".
once you did that you can fast travel to the place and district by opening the window and selecting to destination to travel.

Use your player mount to travel at 60% faster speed to your favorite outposts!
Having all 3 chapters myself, I see this really as a way to save one step when traveling outside the current chapter:
1.) Press "M" for Map and click on the Ship Icon on the Map and choose desired port of call.
2.) After arriving at the port, press "M" and select Outpost of choice.
So, you really aren't saving that much.

How about then you click on the ship to travel continents you are given a choice of Elona, Cantha, Tyria, and the Battle Isles, you select one, then get a drop-down menu of towns and outposts you have visited there? This way you can have the same idea as this, but can travel to anything not bookmarked.
Kuldebar:
Some people take a long time to load an area and being able to map directly could save some people a lot of time. Even with clicking M as soon as it loads, it takes a while to get to somewhere other than the port (especially for the Realm of Torment). Being able to map directly will save at least one loading screen, possibly 2.
/Signed. It may not be too important, but would be very nice to have.

you turn on your computer.
the bios take all those annoying thing to boot up the computer.
windows remember some of previus setting.
when you navigate you can use bookmark and if you type in your address your the initial part of a website your browser will give you a choice of previus typed url
to launch guildwars instead of typing this on a console.
"c:\program files\Guildwars\gw.exe" you have the cool thing to double click on the icon of your desktop and lauch gw.
in gw you have templates to manage your builds.
i could add other thousands of exsample thinking a little.
why then implement them? BECAUSE WE WANT A EASY AND FUNTIONAL INTERFACE.

It is always so anoying map traveling from drocknars forge to doa and back. Lets go through this step by step. Start at Droks:
1. Click on the boat to travel to kamadan.
2. Travel through the vortex.
3. Travel to doa.
4. Go back through the vortex.
5. Click on the boat to travel to LA.
6. Travel to Drocks.
That is 6 map travels. You could have a list of the continents that expands with a list of destinations so you would only have to map travel once to get from Droks to doa and once back again. This would make traveling much faster and much better for those people with slower internet connections.

think it would just work better that when we click the ship and select a city or the vortex, the map for that new area opens up without actually porting to that city. that way we can just go with one load from anywhere.

Probably a good way to make it "easier" or rather, more easier:
Have the World Map show the whole world not just the specific chapter. Allow it to be "zoom-able" and so forth. Problem solved. I'd be surprised if this doesn't happen in Chapter 4.
The only road block now is having to use the Ship Icon when traveling between campaigns.
tenshi_strife
yea i guess your right about that and i would also like to see how the world of guildwars is put together

I downloaded the map and have it on my desktop for quick reference. It's nice to have a context of where you are at sometimes.
tenshi_strife
wow... nice why cant A-net use that map with a zoom function that seems like it would solve quite a few problems.... well except for people without all 3 games... it would annoy them i bet lol
