Ok, this has been bugging the hell out of me for the past couple of months. It seems everytime I put on a sprint, or charge and I run into enimies; then go around them. I keep running, but it says I keep taking damage from the same people who are on the other side of the radar!
Then after 5 seconds or so, it warps me back. I've repeataly tried out this bug and it happens everytime, the only way to encounter is not touching the npcs at all and going around them.
So yeah, fix please.

I think this is some sort of collision detection problem with the net code. The client thinks you've gotten past the enemies, but the server thinks you've hung up on them. The next time the client syncs your x,y coordinates with the server - bam - you're back where the server thinks you are. The server seems to always override the client when it comes to things like that. Unfortunately ANet sort of has to architect the system that way to help prevent people from cheating by hacking the client.
I wish I could tell you what the solution is, but I seem to have misplaced my copy of ANet's source code for the game...

This always happens on my chest run on peridition rock - On the bridge that there are drakes the other side of. SO I don't take that route and now have treasure hunter title
