Protector titles

Is it true that when ANERF, sorry ANET introduce the 'hard mode' that those with protector titles maxed out will now haVE to do the hard mode to have this title maxed and for those who have KAOBD loose it in this way?

As the hard mode has not been specified yet, it's hard to tell.

i just hope that anet dont nerf the protector titles.

I have the 3 protector titles on some of my chars and on one them these 3 and the 3 cartographer ones thus having koabd and I just hope they don't nerf this.

It's already been stated by Gaile Gray that no one would lose any titles by this update.

I expect the new hard mode will be a whole new title progression - it won't be added on to Protector, but added separate from it.
So you could be Protector of Tyria and Guardian of Tyria.
That how I read it, at least.
