We now know that ch4 is called Eye of the North so that is possible the "northern regions". From the screenshot that we have probably all seen by now it looks like its a snow map.

I now have a much clearer view of the layout of the 4 campaigns:
Prophecies is the "middle" with elona off to the south east nearer the crystal desert.
The eye of the north map will be north of tyria possibly following the lines of the shierpeaks.
Cantha is south of the other 3 campaigns on a different island.

EDIT: The following statement is INCORRECT if you match up the map of elona with the one of tyria.

The 1st picture in this thread just about prooves that Elona is East of Tyria. This could be part of the Shiverpeaks. Here is a link.

Now slightly a different topic but still on the layout of the maps. The subject of Gwen.
Gaile Gray has aparently hinted that the saga of gwen will be resolved sooner or later. Gwen started in pre searing in Prophecies and has not been seen since. Although she has not been seen there have been traces of her, prooving here condition. In old Ascalon you could find her broken flute, and somwhere else in tyria you could find a tattered cape. Gwen seemed forgotten in Cantha, but when nightfall was released tou could find a preserved Iris flower which is another item linked to gwen. Possibly we will need some of these items to play ch4?

Ch4 seems that it will be the last in the series of GW1 with GW2 released in the 2009-10 timespace.

Does this mean that the truth about Gwen will be resolved? I still have my tapestry shred that Gwen gave me and I really want a use for it...

I dont think Gaile said specifically that it was Gwens quest if i remember correctly she just said an unresolved Quest will finally we dealt with, but i agree its probably to do with Gwen aka the Holy Grail of Gw.

Also i dont think you can get the Tattered cape anymore (although i could be also wrong with that)

We do notknow for any amount of certainty that "Guildwars: Eye of the North" is the next game to be added.

We will however know from (I do believe, correct me if I am wrong) in 9 Days when paid-subscribers of PC Gamer will get to see and read about the next game that is about to come out.

You shouldn't really go about saying "We know", when really we don't know anything.

I will say that we do know. Gaile Gray gave us a hint and said somthing like: "Binky's next spell binding adventure will be set in Antarctica"

We also know that ch4 will be the last in the series of GW1, therefore ch4 will be eye of the north.

Doesn't Guild Wars Eye of the North says anything to you? Look at the capital letters.

I know Gaile said what she said, and just so you can find it on a map - Antarctica is the SOUTHERN pole. Known as the coldest continent on Earth.

Prove, with a official site and not the INquiry or whatever it was, that "Eye of the North" is the new game. Until the 15th of this Month, no one should be spreading any information we do not know.

Edit:

Doesn't "GuildWars: Eye of the North" scream fake to you? Really, think about it this way. We've have Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall. They like one word titles.

Plus, do you really think they would be like "Oh my god, if we do it this way we can secretly put Gwen's name into the title and NO ONE will figure it out! *giggles*", come on give me a break.

There is now several threads supporting that ch4 is eye of the north.
It looks like a lot of the GW community has prooved you wrong...
But as you say we will soon find out.

You know, I should take some advice here for once. Don't argue with idiots, they're better experienced at it then you.

Enjoy this topic, I hope that I can be proven wrong for your sake.

There are no right or wrong at this moment, the information from inquirer hasn't been confirm by anet yet. The same goes for the thread at the riverside as well.

One certain thing is that the next issue of US PC Gamer will have the info on CH4. This is 100% confirmed by Gaile herself.

And you are right, Neriandal Freit. They're better at this than most of us

Will Gwen appear in the next chapter? most likely....players have been asking Anet about her again and again....

Eye Of The North? well chances are it is the official title of Ch4....but i am going to agree with Neriandal. Until Anet offically announce the details of Ch4 assume nothing......

If Gwen is in Ch4 she would ether be a driving force npc (Example: Evenia) or a simple side quest....

Oh and this thread says the latest on Gwen....really there is nothing new in your post at all....we all presumed Gwen would appear at some point. And the whole G.W.E.N....seriously get real. It was humour that first pointed that out.

You are not wrong. The Tattered Cape is no longer obtainable, except through buying one from someone who has one, or more. Not that I would know anyone who has two.

What many people don't seem to understand is that the name
Guild Wars Eye of the North is NOT confirmed and could be true or could be bs.

Certainly not official. It is infact rather dubious. Some of it sounds like it may be true, but other parts just sound plain wrong. Would they really announce GW2 this early, when they're about to release an expansion for the original game?

Maybe. But either way, Gaile has already said that only some of it is true, some is false and that it's misleading.

Personally, I'd prefer if they kept Gwen as a big mystery. Even telling us at the end of the final game would ruin the fun about it all.

Stealth stop posting links everywhere to your thread. Your basing all of your comments on something that isn't confirmed. I don''t even think this belongs in Druid's overlook seeing how there is already a Guild Wars Eye of the North thread in the general discussion forum. This has nothing to do with lore.
