I have found something weird. Every time there is an update to the game, I have to repair my data archive. I have tried decompressing the file using Contig like support says, but its not working. Any other suggestions. It is ONLY happening after updates.

Did you try the -repair command?

You could also try reinstalling and doing a -image.

I could try the -repair.

I could also reinstall. I wanted to know if it was some other issue. I might start it all over tonight or something. -image takes a while from scratch lol

If there are any issues with your dat file, doing -repair will help fix those issues. Also, if you reinstall you should use the cd(s) from the last chapter you purchased as it will greatly reduce your download time and make doing a -image much shorter as well.

Well here's the low down:

Tried repair: Still really didn't do much as I still got a problem (even without update).

So, right before I went to bed, I just deleted the .dat file, made the .exe an -image, and let it run over night.

Before, my .dat file was over 7 GB. It is now 2.7 GB and no more problems. I think my old .dat file was corrupt and wasn't deleting old files with updates, hence leaving me with the problem. Thanks for the suggestions though!
