Simple command to kick leechers/bots/afk from teams.

I thought I would make this petition on and idea I came up with to kick leechers etc from teams.
Have you ever been in a pve quest/mission with 7 other people but 1 of them is either a bot, somone that is leeching or somone that has been afk for a long time. This can be very annoying especially in a mission if there is a cutscene, or you may just wish this player was not on the team.
My suggestion is that there is a simple slash command /kickplayer followed by the number of the player in the party list. There is then a (60sec?) time lmit fr the rest of the party to reply with the same command. If over half of the party has replied within the time that player is kicked from the group.
Possibly that player is replaced with a suitable henchman or the party leader can choose a henchman from a list that appears on his screen.
This would solve all the leecher problems within pve.
This command could also be available in some of pvp. In random arenas you may have 1 leecher in the team and have just won a round. Somone decides to /kickplayer3 (the leecher) and it is decided that player is kicked. He/she is replaced with another random person. This could apply to many other pvp arenas including the festival games (dragon arena and snowball arena) as there are lots of bots in teams just leeching for gamer points.
I think this idea would be a good thing for Guild Wars so please give me your feedback as well as signing or not signing.

I've never had anyone in a team that appeared to be a leecher or a bot, but then I keep my PUG exposure to a minimum.
What would be nice is if leavers could be replaced with a suitable henchman.
Those I've had lots of!

Think of the abuse.

I would love to see this, but they would have to put a feature in that the kicked person got all drops that were for them or else you would see a ecto drop and that person kicked so the party leader could get the drop and that would really suck
Dreikki
It definitely would be abused if someone gets a drop when he's dead.
No. No. No.
No. No. No.

I think a time limit is better so if you are not alone in an area you get kicked and go back to youre previous location.
With henches there isn't a problem.

Maybe if the "Team" wants to kick someone as a whole then they should all have to type kickx or w/e.
i.e. 7/8 players type kickx then player x gets kicked and replaced by hench in pve or reloading of map with new player in RA(big problem with bots and leavers). Ofcourse in RA 3 ppl would have to type kickx to kick player x.
AND if there only 2 ppl then u cant kick the other person whereever u are.
How does that sound?

For one Anet doesn't seem to care about leechers.
My suggestion though if they ever did start to care would be to make the command wait 10-30 seconds and if the suspected leecher doesn't move or react than they get kicked.

I have played games that had the vote kick option. if someone is afk or just being totaly stupid in game play someone starts a vote. If a % of the team agrees the player is gone. It worked pretty damn good and also made people play better because they did not want to get kicked and have to find a new team.

I just think it is too open to abuse. 3 players + heroes, 2 are friends, they can boot the 3rd whenever they want. Get 99% complete with a mission and boot them for the torment of it.
Guilds + Heroes FTW!

/signed with limitations.
I would love to see a kick option, however it needs some restrictions to help cut down on abuse.
- All players in the group (except the kickee of course) must agree to boot a player.
- Groups with only 2 or 3 humans cannot kick players.
- Kicking a player will leave a void in the group. Henchies/Heroes will not fill the gap. This should help cut down on abuse. Your team now needs to decide whether or not it's better off with 1 less player than continuing with the offending player.
- Any drops for the kicked player go with him when he's kicked. The kickee will find himself back in the starting town with the standard "uncollected drops" window that appears after missions. Again to cut down on abuse.
- FOW/UW and any other area that requires a fee to enter will not have the kick option.
I added that last one because of a scam I encountered recently. I must say, I've never been scammed in-game except for this once. I consider myself pretty savvy and I've never fallen for scams. I don't think I could protect against this one however except for better playing skills. Some guy was starting a 3-man trapping group for UW and I joined him. Before we left he asked me and the other joiner each for 333 gold for the entrance fee. This is typical and I gave him the money willingly. We warp in and he immediately aggroes all the aataxes onto us and somehow jumped outta the way himself. Next he told us to leave since he would not rez us. He said he prefers soloing the UW so doesn't have to share drops but he didn't want to pay the entire fee himself. As far as scams go, it was pretty pitiful.
Dean has a valid point. This option will be abused, but I feel the benefits should outweigh the abusers if it's implemented properly.

7 people vote to kick someone and that person gets kicked, and takes all of the loot assigned to him with him.
