Every Time there's a gw update....

... my computer is extremely slow, it takes like 10 mins to install the new files

Is the problem that gw have to manage a 3GB file ?

well, it's time to search another way of update the game.

If you are relying on background updating while playing or sitting at the log-in screen, expect it to be slow.

Keeping the following shortcut available to force a complete update solve the problem mentioned above.

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image

Older PC's with lower RAM may be a little slower when it comes to decompressing and "digesting" a large update into a large DAT.

i use ever -image option

my pc is not old
