Farming Question

Is it true that if you farm with full party of Heroes and Henches, but send them away far enough so their name's grey out in the Party Box before the boss dies, they don't affect the drop rate and it would be as if you soloed it?

yeah, the drops are like there is one person, but the gold is still split 8 ways.

It is the same way with chests. Take for exapmle the chest in SF. Normally you would have a 1 in 8 chance but you flag you heros and henches away and you get all the drops.
