Traveling from Nightfall to Prophecies.

I just got to the Consulate Docks and started the quest that tells me that Sunspears are needed in Lion's Arch and so I need to go there and see this one guy. But the boat on the map won't let me choose Lion's Arch, just the Temple with the battle islands.

How do I get to Lion's Arch from Nightfall?

After taking the quest Terror in Kryta, you have to talk to Mhenlo in the consulate docks in order to travel to LA. Here is the link of the quest:

I don't have that quest yet. I have "All For One and One For Justice" :S Tells me to talk to a guy in Lion's Arch. And when I talk to Mhenlo, he doesn't get me options to do anything. :S

The "All for One and One for Justice" quest is to get the Heroe Olias. Before you get the quest "Terror in Kryta", which is the one that allow you to travel to LA you need to complete the quest "The Time is Night" (assuming your character is Elonian) obtained by Castellan Puuba in Sunspears Great Hall.

Just strikes me,

did you get a taxi to docks or did you do the quest "The time is Nigh" ?

Taxi'd might be the reason for you not to be able to get the quest.

I figured out how to get to Lion's Arch now. The guy I needed to talk to was named Deras something or other. And he was in Kamadan. By the way, yes the char I needed help with is from Elona and no I didn't get a taxi. I did all missions in Istan and the first one in Kourna or whatever it's called. Thanks for your help guys.

Later on if you do not want to do much in Prophecies mission wise, you will find a shortcut to the Crystal Desert. The Crystal Overlook area in the Desolation has a portal to take you into Prophecies from there. Its a nice thing but not really that big a deal. I have never tested it to see if that would add LA to your boat or not. Instinct tells me it should or it could possibly trap your Elonian in Prophecies... Well unless you have a Guild Hall. Then just go there and ship back home from battle ilse. It would suck to have to go all the way back to the portal from Ascalon (if you do not zone into a map point) Boy that would be terrible... yikes!!!

Afaik you can only use that boat as soon you travelled there by doing the quest (in this case: Terror in Kryta)...
