Your first character.
Marty Silverblade
Hmmm, I'd say an Elementalist named Erik Moonstaff. I deleted him ages ago because I didn't realise how to play Elementalists properly (they still sucked at that time aswell :P). I remade him and she's going well. Yup, a she this time
ryanryanryan0310
My first character was a nerco, don't really remember the name. Ran around pre-searing for a few hours then deleted him. Maded a female warrior, then deleted her after getting to post. Maded a male warrior, 8 months later deleted him. Cause I got tired of his name .
Currently on my 6 month old warrior.

Poison Ivy
First was a Ranger, who helped me unlock all the Ranger/Mesmer skills...Still wish I hadn't deleted her
Stixxx
My very first character was an E/N named Stixxx Indamixxx lol. I managed to get him to the desert but i kept failing the quest Ancient Secrets so i didnt get any further. After a month or so i deleted him and created my Warrior, who is alive and kicking for 19 months now!
MirageMaster
HAHA! i feel sorry for all those first time characters that got wasted, youppl never deserved them.My wamo was created in beta,in time where was no pre or post ascalon, only LA.It was starting game from LA and doing kryta mission some of wich has changed alot.then came later betas where they added ascalon and the last fun with the size changed ^_^was small as minipet one second then huge like bone dragon. The best place to farm for gold items then was gates to kryta mission, drakes even now give good stuff sometimes.Ofcourse after that was resets and stuff.... couldnt play douring last beta with Gwen clones and all the fires.... but the worms in LA was ok for me.My wamo will live forever!
Jakerius
My first was my Ranger. Only started playing her again recently, getting her through Elona. Good times with her, I stopped playing her in Prophecies for a while though because I was disappointed with the low damage I was doing against armoured foes. Then I learned to adapt, put together a new build for the area, and got through
Etta
My first character was the ranger as well (he also my avatar here), I have been playing him for 13-14 months. He just look much better than warrior male & ele male, back when I first got GW chapter 1.
And when I found out ranger can charm animals, man! that was so cool I even tried chaming that rabbit in pre. But my 1st and current pet is a snow wolf, I named him Dogmeat. In honor of,..well Dogmeat form Fallout 1. Man, I used to love that game.

Macktar Wang
My first character was a W/N. I deleted him after about 3 weeks. I jumped out of Pre-Searing at about level 4, and was just completely slaughtered in the Ascalon area (ah, the early noob days). About a month later, I got back into the game, created Mactar Wang, my W/E, and have used him ever since. Other characters have come and gone, but Mack has always been there.
NevynZeddicus
My first character was my Elementalist, Nevyn Zeddicus. Twenty months later I'm still playing him. I've taken two 4-months breaks from the game, and he's still the first thing I go back to. I definitely will have a little funeral for him the day this game shuts down. Hell, I even named my son after him (first name only!) Everytime something new comes out, he's always the first of my toons to be there. *Sniff* I luv my ele.
Skawtt
First Guild Wars Character : Skawtt Kehar- Warrior
I was lucky enough to get the very last copy of the pre order box from Best Buy for Prophecies.
My first and pretty much the only character I play the most is my Warrior. I named him after my Bothan Tank/Elder Pre CU Jedi from Star Wars Galaxies.

DOCB22
My first and by far stell my fave is Linea Kera E\X
Rock Crush
Rock Crush is my first character and I’ve never deleted any of my PvE characters right now I have one of each.
Rock Crush is a W/Mo I know I know but I based it off my Paladin from Diablo 2.
I made all my character in the order they show up on the make a character screen.
War, Ranger, Monk and finally my Necro
Then when factions came out I made.
Sin and Mes
And with nightfalls I made.
Para and Ele… but I did not stop there I was sick of waiting for more slots so I got two more and made my Rit and Derv
Only made one PvP char just to unlock Heroes Arena and deleted him but I’m thinking I might buy one slot just for a PvP character.
I love to play them all but I find I always fall back to Rock. My first 4 characters are about one to two weeks apart so it did not take more long to have 4 B-day gifts Never going to sell them. Rocks about 13 months old now.

Wilhelm
My first was Wilhelm Bryce.....the bunhead monk created in Beta.
Later deleted in favor of a Factions monk, which is Wilhelm Mae.
Later deleted in favor of a Factions monk, which is Wilhelm Mae.
prism2525
My 1st char was an Ele. she (Dalila Thompson) is 18-19 months old and capped ALL the elites for her primary profession. She's just my kind of character: small, lovely and deadly
dansamy
My first character lives on my husband's account: an Elementalist named Killashandra Ree. Then I purchased my own account in June '05. My first character there was: an Elementalist named Damia Arcana. She got the big ole delete button when NF came out because there's finally some ele hair that I like. I'd have bought another slot instead, but I wanted the name. I have wasted more gold in this game on dye and armor that gets promptly salvaged than anyone I know.
Sk8tborderx
My first character is still my most played and favorite character. He started out as a W/R because I thought I would be able to do double damage if I had a pet (still believed that until I got to the desert). I gave him my name because I am lazy and I didn't feel like thinking of an original one. The rest of my characters are named "woot im a [insert profession here]. I have been playing on him for over 18 months and have over 1500 hours on him, my second closest is my necro with only 200 hours.
cosyfiep
my first character is my first ele Mei ....still play her a lot....she has some of the best armor and is just about done with nf.....and recently got her protector of cantha title!
now back to working on the protector of tyria-----------
still needs to cap 4 more 2ndary elites to have all the elites for both her primary and secondary from all 3 chapters. Have never changed her secondary either.
I still have all the prophecy characters I created, all of the factions ones as well----now the nightfall ones have not been as lucky----my mule dervish got deleted for ----another ele!!! now I have an ele in each chapter and a monk ---though my nf monk is a mule (working on having mesmers in each as well---one more to go!!!). My first rit is the only character I have that has changed her secondary (and thats only because I want to get all the paragon skills for my heros)....she never uses her 2ndary anyways.
I play too much, and love to create the characters almost more than playing them (well, thats what my hubby says )......

Rahl
My first character was of course, a R/Me by the name of Rannina Aylomen. I played the /Me part of her until someone suggested (in Kryta ><) that I use a bow.
/doh.
I did so much damage!
Yeah, newb days were the best. Anyways... I finally gave her up(unfortunately) to make way for a Necro(also deleted, much to my annoyance) in favor for a Mesmer(~8 months after I started playing, heh) and so on... but my favorite char is my second one, Monk. 'Cause, well.. they're just awesome.

Valkus
My first character was a mesmer named Valkus Mirageshield, who remains my coolest, albeit 2nd most used character. I would never ever ever delete him because aside from him being my most favorite char, I would be much too lazy to recap all the elites he uses. That and he is a real ladies' man.

Here's a similar thread created about a little over a year ago.

As for my character,
A ranger, as always. Don't play him often, but he goes to all the festivities and stuff like that.

Frazzy
My first character was a Warrior/Monk and I used him a lot for scamming. I got him to level 20 and then was forced to changed his name due to inappropiate characters in his name. I started farming FoW with him but found it extremely boring so I started scamming in ToA. I scammed over 4 million gold worth of ectos with him (Sorry if I scammed you) and my name will be hidden due to security reasons. My account was then banned. When I got a new copy of the game from a friend who dis-liked Guild Wars I thought I could find a new way to scam and I made a nice prophet but my account got banned. Yes, you can make a lot scamming...but then your account may be banned pernamently after about 9 warnings so I advise you not to try it. I still dream about my character running through the pretty flowers in pre searing (He actually ran through them, they would go through his leg).
I had a perfect sword, axe, bow, staff you name it and later made a Necromancer, Monk, and a Elementalist. They all wielded perfect Gold Items but now I cannot brag and laugh in your faces since I have quit Guild Wars since I have better things to do, like play Starcraft. SO DONT SCAM AND ENJOY YOUR FIRST CHARACTER !!!!!

Although he was my first character, I only really cared about my warrior, Talon Stonesplitter who I made about 1 month after my Ranger (As you can see is still alive, Ranger Jon was deleted and reborn).
My most fond memory of my Ranger was capping Poison Arrow in Witman's Folly, with some random Ranger who gave me all his drops.
My most fond memory of my Warrior was when I was logging on and then some guy said "First Warrior to trade me gets a free major absorbtion rune". I got to him and got the item for free. Soon afterwards, some guy whispers me and says "I'll trade that rune for my axe" and it was a Chaos Axe Req11 14^50, which I still use today.
Ilya Khan
I made my mesmer 22 months ago and can't bring myself to delete it. I have such great memories of presearing and Tyria
peffy
My first character was a warrior. I had trouble finding a good axe/sword for her to use, so I was stuck with hammer. Then I decided that I didn't like hammer skills, so I deleted her and started fresh .. with a Necro/Ele - half blood, half nuke. Those were the days...
some guy
My first was a ranger, named it Alien Poo (Don't ask why, cus i don't know either)

Angelic Upstart
My first was and still is Ele/ whatever, completed Prophecies now use him for farming and such, he is about halfway through NF when the mood takes me to use him, versatile char 16 months old Halycon Warrior is his name and he suffered his first assault with the AoE nerfbat when Anet knackered Ele nukers in SF back in the day good times.
Parson Brown
Mr Buffman is my first character (W/Me) and he's still around but doesn't come out to play much.
I found that I like casters better, and his inventory got so bloated with various swords/axes/hammers/shields/headgears that he's no fun to play in PvE because I can't pick anything up!

Kuldebar Valiturus
I didn't become overly attached to my first character in Guild Wars because I was playing World of Warcraft at the time.
It was a couple of months after the release of Prophecies when I rolled Necromancer in Pre-Seared Ascalon.
The game play was so fundamentally different, that I was a little out of sorts after having been used to WoW. It took a lot getting used to, for instance, not being able to navigate freely over the game's terrain and the feeling of isolation upon leaving towns.
But, those things became acceptable after a while. The game was a lot more forgiving of my SatNet connection than WoW had been. But, My first character never left for the Academy, and he reached no higher than level 5.
For nearly a year, Guild Wars resided on my hard drive unplayed. Factions came out, but I didn't buy it. WoW was my chief gamer occupation.
But, after 18 months of WoW it was time for a change, and there was Guild Wars waiting for me.
I logged on, updated the game and played seriously for 10-12 hours that night. My old Necro had received a birthday gift of a mini-Hydra, but I elected to roll a new character and this one I took through the Academy.
Post-Seared Ascalon was a shock. I remember feeling the world had been turned upside down. it was a very strange experience.
Before long I ordered Factions and pre-ordered Nightfall. I left WoW and my guild in late October of last year.
In many ways, WoW and Guild Wars suffer from opposite problems. WoW often required an "it takes a village approach" while Guild Wars presented the question "where is the village?"
My GW experience has been predominantly solo. I haven't beaten any chapter yet as I have been playing all 3 campaigns and various characters. My main characters are ascended and have their full complement of Heroes.
I don't feel that I have fully settled into Guild wars yet, but it is a project I am working on.

Peter Panic
my first char was a monk bc i used to watch my older brother play all the time when i got bored, and all he played was a monk, so i picked it up pretty quick . then i got my own account from a friend of my brothers who didnt like it, but i stopped playing. after than, my cousin took my account and deleted all my chars, including my monk . well the short story is that he stopped playing and i started again, so i still use his first char, a wammo named gilao talinase, untill just recently i re-made my first char, mo/me duke grad. i still paly as the wammo tho, i couldnt stand to delete him after i put so much effort into getting him my first set of 15k and victos, etc.
matt_longbow
My first char was a R/N. Still love him to this day. I play him quite frequently and is my main pvp char.
Samuel Dravis
my first was an e/mo. I love playing the wizard and I still have all 4 of my original prophecies chars - necro, monk, war, ele. i have not deleted a lvl20 char ever, because each one i create i made because i really like them. i will be getting a bunch of presents.
Kha
My first char was my warrior, back in the WPE (World Preview Event.)
Oh how things have changed since then. My first character from release (I think beta players got a day or two early to play) was also my warrior, Lunara Kha. He's still one of my more played and loved characters.

ChyldeOfTheLotus
I've only had one PVE character and that's my minion master. I never really felt the need to create any new charcters for PVE. I thought about making a nuker elementalist, but I decided to just stick with me necro.
savage vapor 33
My first char was a W/E with fire storm, hamstring, and flare. Still use him to this day. Savage Vapor. It was supposed to be viper, yet i mispelled it and was too lazy for almost 2 years to change it. O Well.
Best memory is winning halls for the first time while only playing for 3 weeks. Then i was banded from HoH because i forgot sprint. Oops.

[M]agna_[C]arta
My first char was "Lienhart the Sage" he was a Hydromancer.
I deleted him cause I don't like his looks. I wasn't stuck to him that much.
I replaced him with my Elementalist(Hybrid) "Piero Flameseeker" formerly a Pyromancer, nicer name huh?, sadly I wanna change the name to "Pier" or "Pietro"^^!
But the name isn't a big deal^^.

First one was a Necro. I stayed in presearing for about a month cuz i thought that was the game. Even more proof of bein clueless is that i walked around with a sword and a shield most of the time and didnt spend attribute points.
Demilikos
My first character was Lord Demilikos, my R/N from the World Preview Event in '04... wow, I can hardly believe it was that long ago.
I used Power Shot and Life Siphon and had my colorful Lynx on standby. Haha, good times.
