Question about Runic Blades

Just wondering, because I've seen Runic Blades that are gold colored (the actual item, not text), and sometimes I see Runic Blades that are silver.

Maybe someone dyed their blade, y'know with the dye. Some weapons can be dye, while the other only the weapon icon change. You can always see the preview window of whatever you're going to dye.

Some of those weapons were probably dyed although, there are a few weapons with the same name that have different skins (i.e. the jeweled staff).

Anyone else have anything to say about this?

If you look at this picture taken from GWiki, the WHOLE blade is dyed Gold. But for mine, the whole blade is dyed Silver. Applying Gold dye to it would make my blade handle Silver.

colour change could just be the lighting in that area

Runic Blade and Mallyx's Edge have the same skin, but the color can be slightly different like some other greens. And a picture on wiki of a Runic Blade can be Mallyx's Edge, user could have thought it's exactly the same skin and color.

Edit: I found this while looking at the picture of Mally's Edge at wiki as part of file history:
