Do you guys happened to remember how "we" complained about his article over and over and over again as of late?

I'm not so surprised at all that he'd be discouraged and simply....stopped.

A lot of people on the forums do vent a lot about what Anet does or does not do. Just look at Skill Balancing or the latest threads about the Asura mini pet. If I worked for them and followed through these forums I would be discuraged as well. But I am sure they know that for the number of people complaing on here there are many many more who play the game with no gripes and never even visit these forums. I like to browse them from work and laugh at what most people are saying. People sure do get heated over a game.

I posted this because I really do miss the weekly installment and do enjoy what he has to say. I have this goal that if I do enough kind things someday it might rate a word from the Scribe(not that I wouldn't do them anyways as part of my enjoyment in this game is helping others).

I loved those wallpapers, got every one of them on my computer and I switch my desktop around every couple weeks with them. Also loved the scribe, between him and the forums it makes the world seem more alive and interesting.

You know, that's nice to see. There has been a small amount of negativity about the news scrolls, it's true. It's only a small number of people, but I'm still not sure why they're so set on a course of put-down and denigration. :-/ I think that people forget we're not going to announce major news, for the most part, through this little feature. But this little feature is great fun, and I believe in my heart that it truly enhances the Guild Wars experience.

I think that may be the favourite part of writing those scrolls, actually. Who wouldn't like the chance to call out good people and kind souls? I enjoy reading that part, and I know I look for those community members when I visit the game.
