Do pets stop growing once they reach level 20 or do they get bigger every xx amount of experience?

I saw a screen witha black bear as big as the ranger who owned it... and my lizard is level 19 and only about thigh-high to my char.

So, will my pet keep growing past level 20? And if yes, is there a size it will stop at? I mean, having a godzilla-sized pet would be awesome ^_^

Im pretty sure it stops at level 20, however, I dont usually play with a pet.
I say this because if it kept growing then things could easily get out of hand..

Malko - Bears are simply bigger than lizards, your lizard will never be as tall as you (now, moa birds on the other hand...). Pets stop growing at level 20, too.

As far as I can tell, not all pets grow. I've had a tiger from level 3-20, and it hasn't seemed to get any bigger whatsoever. I think it depends on the pet species.

I think I've read that Canthan pets do not grow and pets from Tyria and Elona grow until they reach level 20.

Agree with Amy Awien. Only pets from Tyria and Elona grow.
I think they grow at 15lvl and 20lvl.

The growth is gradual, they don't just go up one size at lvl 15 and 20 ^_^

Anyway, since Lizze the Lizard is level 20 now, my question has been answered. I'm getting a Crane or whatever the Pre-Searing bird is called, for my Perma-Pre, though. ^_^

They grow gradually and Hearty makes them bigger than other evolutions too. Hearty Moa's are insanely big.

There's nothing like a pair of hearty rats to make everyone wanna gank you in HA. There's something about giant rats that make people angry...

I am pretty sure that i saw dire pets, that were as big as hearty ones should be. I always thought it was dire that made them big and not hearty.

The growth rates do seem to differ in some way that's for sure. Each of my heroes has a wolf. I often take four at a time (mine + 3 heroes) in PvE and I have noticed that two of them seem to be a different growth levels though their experience level is the same. I say "seem to be different" because they never really stay still or line up in a way to get a good comparison.
