Which would be the better bow to mod and use for my ranger? (Just a question of the dmg mod vs req, the other mods will be replaced)

Both were bought for 30k, and whichever one I don't use will be possibly modded and definately resold, hopefully for a bit of profit.

Right now I'm leaning towards the req 11, as if I'm using marksmanship skills I'll definately be at level 12 or higher. I won't be able to use it as soon as the req 8, but that's a small tradeoff.

The req 8 would probably sell better since it has a low req and only 1 point off perfect mod, right?

The first one will probably sell a lot higher, yeah, despite the second being a better bow stats-wise. Unfortunately "while enchanted" is weak on bows - stanced or ^50 are a lot more useful.

The bottom one can still be modded with a bow string
Enchanted isn't that bad. I like using it with conjure flame kindle arrows combo.

I'd give away the top one

I'd keep the second (req. 11) one IF you are going to use bow req. 12.

If trapping, you want a lower req. bow to pump up wilderness survival.

I would lean to the HP mod only because rangers only take damage from degen and physical (which they shouldn't be getting hit that often). However, armor +5 is a good mod.

Elemental mods are only useful if you are going to use conjure. Otherwise, a Vampiric or Zealous string would be better. Poisoner's is good for if you use poison.

Vampiric --> Life stealing: 5 life per hit, Health regeneration: -1
Zealous --> Energy gain on hit: 1, Energy Regeneration: -1
Poisoner's -->Lengthens poison duration on foe by 33%.

I kept the req 11 and had a hell of a time getting rid of the other one. I tried selling it for 30k, to break even, but people wouldn't even buy it for 20k. Somehow, I ended up selling it for 15k and 50 Candy Canes. I then promptly added 15 of my own Candy Canes and traded someone 65 for an Icy Dragon Sword. Again, I advertised the IDS and sold it for 30k and 1 Ecto so overall I made a fair profit

@Life Infusion: I was really only worried about the base dmg mods and I'll be fixing up the remaining bow probably with a poisoners or zealous string and a 25-29 fortitude grip. That is, if I keep it. I might try to sell it as well and get a 14^50 Storm Bow, but the prices on even those are pretty high
