Can't Do Jokanur Diggings mission with Tyrian Ranger

Hello all, allow me to tell you my wonderful problem, which I have spent the last 3 hours trying to solve.

Well, I decided to go for Protector Of Elona with my main, Zelyoniy Ranger. So, I decided to go for Jokanur Diggings. It wont work. The npc wont give me the mission. The map reads it as an outpost not a mission. My guildies tried to help me, giving many remedies to solve this puzzle. None worked. I've heard many things that might conflict and keep my from doing this. Many have failed, before you try to answer my problem, note these many facts.

I'm Tyrian
It works with my other characters, only my ranger can't do it
I've done Chabek Village
I have no active Elonian quests
I've started and completed the quest to get to Elona
I have no active primary quests
I have all the heroes (besides endgame rit, which shoudn't matter)
I beat NightFall
My frends can do the mission, but not when I go with them
I'm a Sunspear Castellan(rank8)
I'm a Brave Light Bringer(rank 3)
I've done the 15 Att point quests from Tyria
I have the Sunspear Rebirth Signet
This problem is driving me to the edge of insanity.

Please, please, PLEASE help me! >_< I feel cheated out of this title, and really shoudn't be happening. I tried so many things but nothing worked. Help would greatly be appreciatet! I feel like the girl who had hiccups for six weeks and no remedies worked.

I found this in the game bugs section, but i figure it would do better here instead. I will keep an eye on it, and it it changes into an ovbious bug, I will move back, but it will definitely get more attention here then there

The only obvious one is that Melonni has to be in your party to begin the mission. Without her, the NPC won't act as a mission starter.

Past that, I have no idea, but good luck.

I know there was a problem that if your sunspear rank was too high you couldn't get to certain area's on the starter island. So maybe that's it?!?!

You almost certainly missed one of the prerequisites.
