Question about heroes

Ok i have procrastinated getting night fall, but it is soon to be in my hands. But i am concerned when i get my heros, i wont have enough stuff to outfit them with. I have 5 lvl 20 chars, and i want to get heros for ost/ all of them. but do heros share items and things account wide? or will each characters heros be completely independant? if i get a hero for one character, will all my chars get them? plz help. thanks in advance.

heroes are per character, what the heroes of one of your chars get, your other characters heroes arent going to get it.

there are several ways to outfit the heroes with cheap weapons, either you get it as white drops, get them through collectors, or if you have the GoTY edition you can use /bonus as many times as you want to outfit them.

I think i remember from the preview that heros armour gets better with level, so i shouldent need to get better armour im guessing. unless this was changed. oh well, i think its time to get collector items.

Yeah, you have to get each hero per character, and outfit them with weapons/runes. If you're bringing chars over, then the heroes you get at the start also get given some better weapons as well, which do them fine. I generally don't worry about giving them uber-l33t equipment, I'll just whack a 12^50 inscription on a near-max sword and be done with it. Also, there's collectors, and solo-ing bosses for their greens has never been easier. The only drain is buying a vigor rune for each hero... Bah, they'll live without.

::EDIT:: Yes, hero armour does get better with level, too. You can get some pretty hero armour skins for them in challenge missions in Elona, though.
