I doubt that china would ever have a chance against Europe. Europe is just too strong. Everyone said that Korea and America would dominate, and look at them now.

Korea are all but bombed...

hell yea it would be unfair to other countries. Then again it was the same way when the game originally came out at least the rank part... I don see how it affects us if there on a separate server but i annoys me somehow.

As long as they have but one chapter they stand a snowball's chance in hell. How many retro-builds have you seen winning anything in heroes' ascend lately?

The next topic is the guild ladder. If they really earn a spot on a future world championship would the players be allowed to travel outside the country?

having more players is of no use either. the single best team wins, not the country who sends the most newbies. eventually Chinese top teams might arrive, but would the world really bother? If access to Fow/UW turns into a widely conceived problems then Anet will have to deal with their userbase, not the Euro/US players with Chinese players.

Is there even a Chinese release date yet?

What I find to be the really interesting thing about this is if people will play GW for the sake of PvP, as they will run through the PvE very quickly.

Funny note: on page four of the this thread, in the picture, someone is selling "Long term big quantity sale white gold QQ# [QQ is a commonly used chat program in China like MSN] phone number 13946055553 [its a cell phone number BTW]"

As for as all the speculation as to whether the Chinese dominate GW, I think its a function of Number of Players X Quality of players [as percentage of number of players]. It would be great if many many sign up. But most likely, it will be less than 1 million. Still...if one million people start playing, it will be a lot. As for quality, I don't see any reason to believe that the average quality and dedication is more or less than Europeans or Americans.
