Last year I held an artwork contest (link here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10041149) and I've been talking with Shanaeri Rynale about holding a new similar contest. This new one would involve participants drawing duo drawings of both my character (Sanra) and Shan. With an extra prize list for drawings of only a single character. The total amount of prizes would sum up to 800k, and would be divided between 20 or so winners.
So, anyway, what do you people think? Would this contest be fun and interesting or should we forget about the whole idea?

Is that 800k prize divided evenly between 20 winners? Because if so, that's only an 800g prize per winner.

That's incorrect, 800k divided between 20 people would be 40k each. And it won't be divided evenly. Top prizes will be notable larger than the lower ones. And there might be a few unique bonus prizes

Well, there's Shanaeri this time around, although Shan is also a mesmer so that isn't exactly a major difference.
I'd replace Sanra... but she's my favourite character and is now the only character I regularly play, too hard to choose another character
I'll set Sanra up in a completely different outfit, that makes it all new and exciting, yush?

Hahaha I love the first few paint entries in that previous contest. What I'm here to say is I'm always interested in drawing contests and especially if there's some $$ involved. Well I might participate anyways because it's fun competing and seeing all the other peoples works. :P Count me in!
