Coloneh most of the avatars have a use for certain builds I do agree that avatar of grenth sucks melandru is alright and the rest are ok. But get Reaper's Sweep great elite to play with (go here for the place to cap it http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Dabineh_Deathbringer ) Here is a build that might work.

[skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill][skill]Lyssa's Assault[/skill][skill]Chilling Victory[/skill][skill]Wild Blow[/skill][skill]Crippling Sweep[/skill][skill]Zealous Renewal[/skill][skill]Heart Of Fury[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

scythe=12+1+1~3
mysticism=12+1

This build can be changed about such as attacks but the attacks are about as good as you can get for this build but if you are in ab I would suggest taking out [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill] for [skill]Banishing Strike[/skill] because of minions.

Considering most avatars are kind of nerfed, PVP wise, i think Melandru's avatar would be the best to get. Mainly cuz in PVE, you get lots of conditions.

I agree with Reaper's Sweep over the avatars. It's simply the best elite you can get at this point. I personally like to combo it with [skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill]. I also suggest using [skill]Mystic Vigor[/skill] for self-healing in conjunction with [skill]Heart of Fury[/skill] and one other enchant.

The OP is level 15 and will not find it easy to capture elite skills. He is wanting a build using skills available in the early game. As I said in my reply to his duplicated post in the Dervish sub-forum, there is a 'levelling' build in the 'Dervish Build Submissions' sticky that is easy to use, uses early skills and has no elites. Worth trying.

One thing I might recommend you doing if you're having a tough time is going back to Istan and leveling up a bit. You should already be at LEAST level 18 by now. I was level 20 by that time. It would really help out a lot and make it a lot easier for you to get in PUGs.

Absolutely right, but as he has now crossed to the mainland he can level up and gain Sunspear points by killing the insects (mostly lvl 16 iirc) in Arkjok Ward just through the portal from Yohlon Haven. This is a good place for rapid and easy levelling up with heroes.

actually greneth is the only one i would say is ever useful.
could you give an example of ANYPLACE where an avatar build would be more useful than a reaper's build?

Eremite's Attack, Crippling Sweep, Victorious Sweep, Chilling Victory, Mystic Regeneraion, Vital Boon, Faithful Intervention, Sunspear Ressurection Signet

8-9 scythe
8-9 earth
8-9 mysticism

Doesn't use elites, and it'll serve you well untill you get to level 20, m8.

Mystic Regeneration, unfortunately, is not available (iirc) until you get to The Gate of Torment. This guy is lvl 15 and has just made it to Sunspear Sanctuary - long way to go before he can get Mystic Regen.

Victorious Sweep, similarly, is not available from a skill trainer until The Mouth of Torment, though it can be captured in Vehjin Mines.

To the OP: check out the dervish sub-forum for ideas - everyone here seems to assume you have all skills available.

Or you can just do Random Arenas or another PvP for about a half hour and unlock those skills which will then be available at any trainer.

I agree. He's too low level atm. If your new to the game, you should definately take it slow and level a bit to get the hang of the game yourself first before asking other people about what is the "uber build."
