Can a Prophecies Character get 100% Canthan Explorer?

I have planned on taking my Prophecies Monk to Factions because I heard it is the easiest chapter to get 100% Explorer in. But, I will not be able to access the arena(s) that level 20's cannot access and I heard that there is NO way that I can access the area that your character first spawns when you make your character (Near Shing Jea Monastery).

Can somebody tell me whether or not I can possibly get my title, and if there is a trick to explore these areas or if you don't need to explore them (Since I heard you do not need to explore the tutorial in Night Fall although that could be a rumor). Evidence backing up your answer would be wonderful since so many people say you can and plenty of people say you can't.

Wrong forum but yes, no matter where you start your characters you can get each map 100% explored.

I've got a Tyrian born character with all three cartographer titles. You may have to wait for an event that opens up the boardwalk, but you most certianly can get 100% mapped.

GMC title can be obtained for any chapter regardless of where that character was created.

Of course you can get to the Monastery! I got my Tyrian character to the monastery. :P

my monk has 100% of both tyria and cantha (tyrian), so the answer is yes....he is still working on elona---------

Any character from any chapter can get GMC in any chapter. 'Nuff said.

Oh, by the way, Tyria is NOT the easiest chapter to get GMC in. All things considered, Cantha is the easiest.

I think Tyria is probably the hardest continent to get the GMC title on, as it has areas that can only be accessed during missions, and the sheer size of it as well. Cantha is the easiest because it's the smallest, though you need the boardwalk events to get that bit of the monestary, and mapping the jade quarry and fort aspenwood can be a trouble if you can't get into them. Elona is relatively easy from what I've heard. Each map works out at about 105% as a total, allowing for some bits to be missed while still giving the GMC title.

the boardwalk isn't required for the title. just makes it easier to get since you won't have to wall hug as much.
