Does your profession affect drops?

What in the world gave you THAT idea 0_o

Of course not...

well someone has told me that, like say for instance I take a assassin into FoW or UW, since sins are rarely taken into those areas he will get the better drops. I was just wondering if this was true or not.

I'm guessing this stems from someone being too incompetent to get a W/Rt to the same place as his Rt/Me to cap VwK.

Because he knew it was easier, albeit a little slower, when using a Warrior, he told everyone "Well ANet have nerfed Ecto drops for Warriors because there are so many of them, so I use Rt."

Or some similar scenario
