Spider/Zhenlun farming

This is my first build, I searched and saw nothing on this, so decided to spread the wealth.

Proffesion: R/E or E/R (either work great, havent tried ele, but it would probably work better with sup runes on)

Attributes:
Beast Mastery: 12 +1 +3
Earth Magic: 12
Wilderness Survival: all remainder (minor rune not needed)

Equipment:
Armour: Druids
Weapons: any +15 or +20 staff, and any bow. (I used wensaules's faith, and zelnehlun's longbow)

Skills
Unsteadt Ground (Elite)
Eruption
Edge of Extinction
Brambles (speeds things up about 20 secs)
Troll Ugnuet
Storm Chaser
Empty (no skills really needed here)

Town: Rilohn Refuge
Where: Floodplain of Mahnkelon
How?:
Start by exiting Rilohn, and head North East (left), use Storm to get passed the ntouka, and use troll ugnuet for healing if needed. run down to this spot NO FURTHAR:


wair for your everything to recharge, then use ugnuet, take a few steps forward into the middle of the circle, turn around and run away. When you go into this circle ish area, all the spiers will appear. Run away towards the ntouka, to loose agro from the spiders. Wait for all the spiders to get to their location (should be boss, and 16 others). Go to this corner:



Cast EoE, then pull out a bow (longbow preferably) you could either:
A) hit zhelnun with the bow
B) run up and aggro
Either will work, but sometimes hitting zelnehlun with the bow wont get all the spiders.
run back beside your spirit, and wait for all the spiders to bunch up. Cast Shockwave, followed by eruption. the first casting will NOT kill the spiders, wait for BOTH to recharge, and cast again.this will kill all the spiders, and zelnehlun (if you have brambles), if you dont have brambles, just cast both 1 more time, and zhenlun will die.

Reward: chance of getting zelnehlun's longbow (15% increased -10 armour, 20/20, +30) misc. weapons, gold and purple drops. approx 1k per run, each run takes about 3 mins (4 mins w/o brambles), thats about 20k an hour, and zhenluns which goes about 10k.



If anyone could try this with an E/R, please message me, and tell me how fast it is w/ +4 on earth magic.

euh...that isn't shockwave...it's Unsteady Ground

besides that I think you can use more useful skills than just Eruption and Unsteady Ground.

i do this with
15 fire
11 beast mastery
5 energy
2-4 air

Meteor shower
meteor
mark of ro..something
glyph (any gplyph except essence)
EoE
fire attunement
ele attunement
storm djinss haste

run up and aggro then hide behind a wall lay EoE and kill them

i do it with a e/r too almost the same,

16 fire
12 beast mastery
3 wilderness skills

skills are:

flame djinn haste (for running)
troll urgents
EoE
Glyph of elemental power (can be replace with other skills such as bramble, fire attunement, etc what ever you like)
mark of rodgort
meteor shower
liquid flame
searing flames

all will be dead before meteor shower ends =)

Spiteful Spirit + Reckless haste and price of failure on the boss with EoE does the job in seconds for me, use Serpent Quickness so SS recharges faster, I haven't tried that one but I'm pretty sure shockwave isn't better then SS =\.


And why are you almost dieing, and have troll, whirl and etc in bar, you're suppose to hide behind that rock.

I made a little mistake there, i put down shockwave instead of unsteady ground >>.

I wsa low on health there, i was seeing if it would be faster if i could finish off zelnehun with my bow.

I use this for Zelnehlun's and Yohlon Haven (exit east, get insect bounty, aggro the 3 groups of insects close by with stoneflesh, cast EoE, glyph, sandstorm, Aftershock).
The first run takes around 1,5-2 minutes, the second one takes around 40 seconds. I usually do one 5 times, then the other 5 times, then I do do something else while the farming code wears off. Takes around 20 minutes to do all 10 runs, and its 100% safe. I use wiki's EoE Bomb build, only it's slightly tweaked.
Edit-the second run got me Sunspear Castellan without even trying. I use the first run with rampager's scrolls to power lvl people/heroes(1 lvl a run, more or less, requires only a running skill of any sort)

This is basically the Old Standard Sandstorm farm build of the boss, except -Sandstorm -earthquake +Unsteady Ground +Eruption, etc.

As far as I have tested, the Sandstorm build still works fine after the Sandstorm damage nerf pretty consistently (You might have to let off a second sandstorm 1 in like..20 runs because not enough die in the first one), so why adapt a slower overall build?

Its nice to use if you haven't unlocked Sandstorm yet.

lol spiders are the new trolls!

is it me, or does the farming coded not kick in here...ive done this like 50 times and im still getting golds every 4-5 runs, and the green every 3 runs..
the drops are decent to, getting alot of dyes and tonnes of keys

i think it takes just enough time that the code gets avoided....cuz i've done it lots and usually get golds every 4th or 5th run also..
