Hero Armor Rune Question

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone could be so kind as to answer my question about Hero armor. Let's say I have Ancient armor on one of my heroes and it happens to have a Superior Rune of Vigor, etc. If I chose to change armor appearance to, say, Sunspear armor, do I lose my runes, or do they transfer over to the Sunspear? I ask, because it would be rather nice to be able to run up my Heroes as different sets sometimes...like say instead of a Superiro Rune Sword, I'd wanna take Hammer. If it does, would I be able to constantly salvage hero armor pieces for the mods without destroying the armor?

I'm pretty sure you can salvage hero armour as much as you want, don't think you can destroy hero armour. The runes and insignias stay the same even if you change ancient to sunspear to mysterious to primeval. Only the skin changes, not whats on it.

You can't destroy / remove hero armor, you can salvage it any number of times and you are guaranteed to get your runes / inscripts back.
