What are diamonds used for.

Diamonds are one of the 3 gems found in Vabbi or traded for using the trade contracts. What use is there for diamonds and why do they maintain a value?

Currently, they have no use. They have a value as they are collected for when they potentially will have a use, at which point their value will skyrocket.

Basically he's saying collect them and make a fortune (hopefully)

Its just like rubies and sapphires, at the time of prophecies. There was no discernable use for them and speculation was that they would be used to craft armor in the upcoming expansion (i.e. factions). As a result, their value spiked but post factions release it came down when no new armor sets requiring their use came to light.

Their value went back up again with Nightfall and the Vabbi armor. Diamonds with no potential use at the moment might be worth quite a bit in the future with the next expansion on the horizon. Hoard and reap the profits later is the approach that is driving the value up.

So there are hoarders, dealing in diamond futures. Bizarre.

Yeah, people stock up on materials that aren't used yet, so that if they ARE used, they can make alot of money if the price goes up due to higher demand.

To satisfy women maybe, as you know in:'diamonds are a girl's best friend'.

Not to mention, diamonds are foreverrrrr..

Too bad they are in game diamonds.


I would suggest stocking up on them too, because you almost know there will be a use. But will I? I don't know. Maybe once they drop in price even more.

I got some ruby's before NF came out for 2k, now they 9k at the moment

In a future expansion you will need to pay all female heroes 10 diamonds to persuade them to join you.

I want one of those!!!! (as long as it becomes an ally! )


really they have no use now, but take up material storage space---and for those of us wanting 250 of everything in material storage--------------.

I would actually say to start stocking up on Diamonds. This new expansion that is supposed to be coming out, with 40 new armor sets? supposively, I think one of them is gonna have Diamonds as a req.
