After browsing through the Index of ideas thread i didn't find anything quite like my idea, so here goes.

One post that is similar, that I found after having this idea, is http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=80728

I was thinking about a solution to the issue about not being able to change hero's pets, the hero's pet names, etc. What if the heroes shared the pets with the character? There would be an interface where you could manage all the pets related to that character and assign them to each hero or to yourself - simple. This would also allow for a new feature: pet collecting.

In topics, this would allow to:

1. Change the name of any pet or release them by having them assigned to the character, even if they were charmed by your hero.

2. Switch pets between your character and your heroes and choose to use the ones you like the most.

3. Collect pets, given enough slots for several pets (maybe 25 or so), so you can have one of each kind and some Dire, Playful, Elder of the same kind, if you want.

4. Include a more user friendly interface to change/reset pet names, instead of the command line.

Well... the easiest solution would be to be able to trade pets with your own heroes.

14 Heroes, 14 pets.

To change the name, your trade the pet whose name you want to change, the change the name, then trade back the pet.

The easiest way to do that would be the pet tamers:

The option to give the pet would let you choose your pet or any of you current hero pets.
Another option would be added, to trade your pet for the one any of your current heroes, if they are currently with one.

That would be the easiest way.
