Guys,
I'd like to get some feedback on your experiences with using Heroes/Henchies and how it's affecting your farming fatigue.
My personal experience thus far is that I have NOT been getting ANY anti-farm when I have three heroes + 1 henchman in my party. I'm flagging them all off obviously...
I could be wrong though since my sample data is such a small bit. That's where you guys come in...
It would make sense if the above were true since larger parties shouldn't ever get anti-farm (IMHO). Honestly if I get a bunch of friends together and we farm the crap out of one area it really shouldn't fatigue us (since we are theoretically doing it "legit"), but who knows with ANet's silly code...
I guess the true test would be to test a farming spot with non-solo party that is known to be easily fatigued and see if the drops start to go in the crapper?
Thoughts/Discussion?
TIA

well, i just got nf, and elona has treated me well. with my war i played a bunch the first day i got it with heros/ hench, and i got several golds and purple items with the heros not flagged away. i think the anti farm code hasnt kicked in on me much because i just got it, but i dont think the hench make a difference. but i also got a green istan shield with full hench/ heros.

Levi, there's some logic to this. When you are taking heroes, you are generally clearing patrols and packs, including the pack associated with whichever boss(es) you are farming. This would tend to not trigger anti-farm. Without any special knowledge, I'd say that to the anti-farm code, this just looks like normal play and exploration.
When you solo, you are generally running to the boss' location, and using whatever build you use to just kill him. When you repeatedly kill just the boss and zone out, that would tend to trigger anti-farm. This sort of activity would be pretty easy for anti-farm code to recognize.

That doesn't work. When I power leveled people, I always zoned with diffrent people and took breaks and farmed in diffrent zones. After awhile, the drops started to suck at the spot where you power leveled people.
I guess same gonna happen after you'll make your run/s, without doing any missions (The only way to reset the farm protection, as far as I know). Don't think it matters with how many, or who you zone with.
