worst moment for me. When I was new the hardest part for me was learning all the acronyms I've never seen before. I remember stepping into Seitung Harbor and seeing....
"lfg for Cap Son"
"GLF MORE UNWELCOMED GUEST 4/6"
"LFG Looking for Trouble"
"Tank LFG To the Rescue"

I was smart enough to recognize the quest names but I had no clue what "lfg" meant, so I finally worked up the courage to ask on open chat.

"Uh, what does LFG mean?"

The response:

"stupid noob"
"stupid noob"
"hahhahahaha what a dummy"
"stupid noob"
"stupid noob"
"stupid noob"

Ok, LFG means stupid noob. Who would have guessed? I almost quit the game right then and there.

Gah, dontcha just wanna smack people like that? Hopefully you've found that people like that are the minority in the game =P

My worst update: 8vs8 to 6vs6. Why "fix" something when it isn't broken?

I was doing the Dunes of Despair today, to try and get the bonus with my Warrior (level 20). After just crossing the bridge, I ran to the left to attack the mesmer boss and his buddies, that's just three enemies. Where as the monk in the party decided to go left and attack two of the centaurs that were running about. The monk then went completely wild about how we're pulling over too many enemies at once and that warriors are always so stupid.

This made me pretty angry. When I lead parties, I tend to be extremely careful, people often get annoyed with me for going too slowly, but considering all of us were such a high level it seemed like a waste of time to try and be careful, we were tearing through the enemies, and the guys the monk wanted to attack were way off out of our path.

I wouldn't exactly say it's my worst moment, but this kind of thing really annoys me, I don't see why people have to be so hostile all the time. This type of thing has made me stop playing the game for weeks at a time before. It's also pretty annoying how almost all monks seem to look down on everyone else - yeah, they have a tough job, but that doesn't mean they're always right.

Was the monk heading toward that little thing (forget name, staff like thing and when dropped it has ward range and slows enemies by 50%)? Monk is my favorite character to play (I guess it is because if I don't heal you, you die ), I believe that monk was saying "all warrior are stupid" because (IMO) the Warrior class attracts alot of new players/young players (no idea why) that are generally newbish (just because they are new/young).
I know I have seen more warriors who act a bit newbish than any other class.

I don't know that it was a "fix" but rather a "change".

Anyway, more on topic:
I thought of others-
AoE update was disappointing (deleted my ele because of it ), but I can see why they do it, I sure wouldn't want Eles running around like Gods in PvE.
AI change for SoJ (and the others)
and- the change from 8v8 to 6v6 (don't mind it really, just sucks that it created alot of whining )
