American vs Euro Servers

I've started farming the UW and FOW again after a little hiatus but the problem for me is that America rarely seems to get favor.

Would it be worth it to switch my account over to the Euro servers?

Since I've never switched servers on my account, I still have the max amount of territory changes available, which I believe is 4.

If anyone has any experience with changing territories, a little insight would be greatly appreciated.

When are you playing? It seems to me that favor usually goes by time of day, i.e. at night in Europe they have favor and at night here we do (when most people are playing).

If you're on really late at night for US time (in the am hours), then it may be better for you to change to European districts. America usually holds favor from the afternoon-evening until around 1-2am PST, so it all depends on your playtime.

At one time I was playing at 2am(EST). America had favor, as I noticed when the Avatar of Dwayna showed up at Druid's Outlook.

Wrong Wrong Wrong...Europe had favor till around 1 am edt. tonight. The night before was about midnight. Europe has favor all day long usually, till about 11 pm.

So if youre on during the day time you want to be on Euro server, late nights you want to be on American server. I switched from American to Euro the other day & switched back the next day, the lag was just horrible, alot of stuttering & about 5 disconnects. Its such a treat to get disco's in UW & reconnect to that "Your party has been defeated, Please return to outpost." prompt

From what i've seen, Europe has favor at least until 10pm eastern time and usually it's more like 11pm or midnight. On some occasions i've seen America getting favor in the afternoon or evening but only on rare occasions.

Best advice, try it once. It can't hurt to see if it is worth the time. Just keep track of your server changes.

ive seen euro favor from 11am - 4 am before, usually favor comes for euro's between 11am - 1pm, then ends sometimes after 1am

We have favor so much Unfortunatly everyone in the euro servers par me are less than friendly, Thats why I play in the american districta!

I switched from American to European servers about two weeks ago (my first switch). America wouldn't get favor until 11:30 PM-12:30 AM est, I was up until 3-4 AM every morning, it was killing me!

The lag on Euro servers can be pretty bad at times but at least I can get into FOW and UW now pretty much any time I want. The lag is usually manageable but will get you killed occasionally. I've only had one evening where it was so bad I couldn't play the game, once I actually paid the plat to get into UW and got disconnected before I ever got there. Overall, I'm willing to put up with the increased lag to get the increased access.

I know Anet is aware of the problem and is working on it, hopefuly it will be fixed soon.
