P/E City Solo!?

So, I was in the domain of anguish solo trapping stygian veil when I saw this guy sitting there selling 153 margonite gemstones. So, when I asked him how he had collected so many, he said, "Oh, I solo the city with a P/E." Then me, who was extremely shocked asked him if he would be so kind and share me his build. He responded with, "sure, but you have to pay me 100k or buy all my margonite gemstones." Obviously, I wasn't going to pay the guy to get the build, thus this brings me to why I have bothered to post this in the forums.

First, I want to know if anyone else out there knows of this build.

Also, if there is nobody who knows the build, or at least no one who will share it, then I think that we should start brainstorming about paragon and ele skills, and how they could work together.

Finally it seems like all of our paragons who we have gotten through NF and other campaigns might have a further use

finale of restoration
gfte
mending refrain
focussed anger.

btw I already farmed with paragon (fow) and posted it here...seems like not a lot of people have seen that topic.

Yes, I have seen your paragon build, and it was great. However, the domain of anguish is quite a bit different then the FoW.

I think he`s on earth magic
something like
stonestriker
cinetic armor
stonflesh aura
armor of earth
rest is maybe paragon
only i think about is how he gets his energy
a zealous spear wouldn`t be enough
an the damage he would do would be alittle bit to less i think

Ya, I was thinking that he was probably using earth magic, because a paragon wouldn't be efficient at the hire energy cost fire spells. Also, it probably uses burning to deal most of the damage, or something like that.

Not to mention that angelic protection is target other ally. Like others have suggested they're probably a geotank with "something else" to replace mantra of earth.

Focussed Anger (maybe Obsidian Flesh?)
Mending Refrain

Head piece swap for +4 from Mending Refrain, maybe 12 leadership, rest in earth and burn everything to death? *shrug* Doesn't seem likely since practically everything has a self-heal and the attribute spread is too much.

*EDIT: Yeah I'm calling BS. As soon as you enter you're going to be hit with Vocal Minority, the necros will strip enchantments, and P/E can't remove hexes aside from Hexbreaker Aria and I have a hard time believing you'll get that to remove the Vocal.

He probably lied saying P/E because its the most unlikely profession to be able to solo DoA. Theres no way an Earth paragon can tank AND kill the margonites. The only DoA solo builds that work are shadow form, Hit and Run, and trapping. All of the avoid taking damage.

only this build has to be better than hamstorm cuz it's gotta 1337 skill.
seriously tho, look at the E/D farmer, all it uses from dervish is mystic regen. Paragon has some pretty good heals. Why couldnt a P/E solo farm there?

Erm... just because he's SELLING the Gems on a P/E doesn't mean he FARMED them on it. It usually means they did... but doesn't always.

More to the point, he's only selling 153 Margonite Gems because nobody actually wants to buy them, he was probably just hoping you'd be dumb enough to buy them all off him.

the problem aint surviving but dealing massive dmg in a short time... the healing capability of the margonites is tremendous...
maybe crippling anthem + ele fast trollfarm???

or

"defensive anthem" + "they're on fire!" + mark of rodgort + 3 nukes + glowing signet maybe + awe vs monk)?

I don't know all that much about paragons, but what if when he says he "solo" farmed it, he did something like Witte's monk hero farm, where he bonds himself up a whole bunch then runs in, flagging the monk hero out of range. Then if he used Obsidian Flesh on himself, he would be taking no dmg from spells, and with all the enchants from his hero, + earth magic, he might be able to tank with enough slots open to do some serious dmg. Not sure though, just a thought.
