What is S/B?

What does S/B mean in trading..?

Staring bid and dont worry if you didnt know it I didnt for awhile either.

s/b: starting bid

c/o: current offer

B/o: buyout price

s/o: starting offer.

You can't use search on that term. I think it's an issue with the /. All that shows up are badly done vb tags.

But Fem is right, you search for that term the majority of what you get is poorly coded VB tags. However, now when someone searches for that exact term they should come up with this thread. So thank you all from the future people who will want to know what s/b is.

the search on this forum doesnt work well so saying use search isnt an option, ive searched for terms i know ive seen and not been able to find the thread im looking for.

How can he fish if his net is but a rope? The search function isn't as perfect as one could hope, as pointed out numerous times in this thread.

I don't agree, I think someone could find out what s/b means in 5 means of looking around the trading forums, or for lets say, using their brain a bit huh?

Not to mention it appears that a lot of threads have been deleted (or moved to where they won't show up in a search) (at least in the Elonian Explorers League). I tried last night to find a thread I had started about Jennur's Horde for a member who had just started a thread on the same subject with the same question I had because a lot of people had offered a lot of great advice in that thread, but I couldn't find it. I tried searching for quite awhile (I'm tenacious) using different phrases I remember being used... but with no luck. I tried going through all the pages of threads in that section looking for Jennur's Horde, but it's just not there, so...

you can't find EVERYTHING with search... it's not the panacea many of us (including myself) would like to believe it is.

I just tried to search on this term, and got nothing but garbage.
Even with the quotation marks around the term like this, "s/b", it's still not working.

and got a copious amount of hits.
