Running W/Mo build
Rikki Fin
Hi, i currently run from Augury rock to the missions in the crystal desert.
i use : charge, sprint, balanced stance, endure pain (going to replace it with signet of stamina when im able to transfer my warrior/monk over to nightfall) healing signet, purge conditions, smite hex and holy veil. i want to however replace one of the skills with heal area as a last minute heal as healing signet takes to long to cast when i want a heal. any ideas?

Do you ever really need to heal that much, though? Endure Pain til you get far enough away to use Heal Sig should work well enough in my experience.
Rikki Fin
i find endure pain usually run outs and i die. before i get the chance to heal.

This should be in the campfire section of the forum, it's reserved for PvE build questions.
[skill=text]Endure Pain[/skill] combined with [skill=text]Healing Signet[/skill] should be all you need for a desert run

Why don't you replace purge with mending touch (from nightfall) and smite hex with heal area?
The Herbalizer
i could run crystal desert with my eyes closed and i only ever used mending, heal sig and endure for health. running desert is very very easy. maybe you need to practice more....

Running in the desert requires very little healing. Try a different route if the monsters along your current one can actually kill you.
Kelly G
mending at 8 healing prayers.
Batou of Nine
To the OP. Please do NOT use Mending. It is not needed, and there are other skills that are much more effective.
Your build is just fine. As others have mentioned, getting to NF so that you can get Mending Touch is worth the effort. You can replace Purge Conditions with Mending Touch...
{{EDIT}}:: Because of my own sillyness and mis-quoted facts. Gday!
The bar you have now is the same bar i have used for running since before factions and has stuck with it because it is a well balanced bar. With enough practice, you will have hardly any problem with most runs... GL!
cheers

@Batou - Signet of Stamina stays on you forever as long as you don't attack, so you just use it as soon as you zone in for a permanent +300ish health, so there is absolutely no reason to stop in the middle of a mob and use it. Also it is a 1/4 sec cast, not 3/4.

LoL, admittedly i wrote this up during a 5 minute break @ work... didn't really sit down to think all my facts through. hehe.

In essence, it comes to preferrence. Both give almost the exact same HP boost. I guess Stamina might help if you cannot be bothered with using hidden HP.
Thanks for the correction!
cheers!

What you have now is fine.
I run with pretty much just Charge and Sprint. Occasionally I use Healing Signet, but most times I don't bother stopping.
Sometimes I take Shields Up when running to Destiny's. Serves two purposes 1. Blocks attacks and rangers trying to hit you with Hunter's Shot 2. Triggers Diversion.
And I only take Balanced Stance on the run to Dunes for the worm, but it can still easily be done without it.

If you need to heal while running the Crystal Desert, you really need to rethink your paths or tactics.

Iv actually never tries running the desert, it just dosnt seem worth my time when i can do the southern peaks. but nothing there has high damage or annoying skills, it should be easy if people are charging what? 300g for the entire tour.
