Tired of the Fantasy look? Want some medieval
Dahl
Meet Dahl Vauhnni, the WarLord.

What are you talking about?
Mister Muhkuh
what is medieval about it that others don't have?
just curious
just curious

Dahl
Things like elemental swords, chaos axes, blade axes, eternal shields, storm bows, tormented shields. None of those are medieval, they are fantasy.
Medieval is nothing but leather, wood, and cold hard steel.

Adam of Tyria
That looks like the most medieval warrior I have seen actually. Good job.
Retribution X
Use a crude axe, and a wooden shield and you'd be barbarian...

Shouldn't this be posted in the "Post Your Warrior Thread"? I don't see anything special about this thread.

Your armor, sword, and shield look fantasy to me too much detail. IMO platemail and kinght's are closest to medieval look.
Dahl
Platemail is a nice medieval set of armor. However that's more of a jousting knight look. Knight's armor is not medieval. It is unrealistic in a few aspects.
There is nothing fantasy about my sword, shield, or armor.
I am wearing leather, with steel plates strapped on rather being COVERED in metal (which is unrealistic). With real mail, they are strap-on plates, not cloth-like.
The sword is very generic. I don't even know where you got the idea that the sword is a fantasy sword. You must not have eyes. I'm sorry but that's like saying a necromancer looks buff and strong.
The shield is sorta 50/50. It has a nice steel look to it. The design is a little bit out of medieval but the shape serves it just right. A tall shield would look more medieval though.
My armor actually has very little detail to it. Like I said before, it is just a bunch of smaller plates strapped on for better and easier movement. Platemail is a bunch of thick, wide, flat plates covering your entire body. The weight of it would be immense and you would feel like you were suffocating because you would not get enough air. You would not be able to keep it on for very long without getting antsy and hot. Plate mail like that was built simply for extreme but short conditions, such as jousting, while the sunspear armor was made for mediocre defence, but for longer durations, for things such as travelling..

It actually does look a tid-bit more medival. I think it'd be moreso if it was dyed gray, though. Just me, though.
Dahl
The grey would just make it look older. The armor is dyed silver giving it more of a just-shined look. The sword is dyed white (only the leather straps on the pommel dye) and the shield is undyable, otherwise it would probably be silver.

This thread is indeed very redundant, there is indeed a Post your Warrior thread.

Next time you feel the need to post a character picture, look for the profession thread first.
