please help! my computer screen is being wierd!

my dad did something to the computer. and now when i turn on the computer, the monitor wont turn on! It saids "No Signal" or something! please what do i ahve to do????? someone help plz

Have you checked the monitor cable is plugged into both your monitor and PC?

ive no idea man. whats a monitor cable??? what color is it?

i checked my monitor, and all i see was two wires plugged on the monitor. is that right, right?

Follow the wires backwards. One (power) should end in a plug in your power strip or wall outlet. The other (connection) should be plugged into the back of your computer.
