I have two questions.

1. How do you get more skills for your profession?
2. And Can I get to the fight the charr part with one profession or do I need two?

You can get skills by doing quests, and you can also buy skills from skill trainers.
As far as I know you have to get your second profession in order to Leave pre-searing ascalon

Afaik you need to have a 2nd prof to get out of pre-searing. But that doesnt mean you need to spend attribute points on that 2nd prod of use skills from that 2nd prof... so what is the problem??

I think he means the 'over the wall' quest

Or he could be meaning the fighting the charr part that you do to get to post searing.
If its that what you mean then yes you need a secondary, you cant leave pre searing without one.
