2 Elites for Monk Heroes
Lorde
I'd like some sugestion for some simple, sure fire, easy to use skills for my 2 Monk Heroes.
Something they won't mess up and use well.
Thanks in advance.

Well for me personally I use dunkoro as healing, tahlkora for all protection.
Dunkoro is usually stuff like Word of Healing(E), orison of healing, dwaynas kiss(whatever kiss dunno exact wording), remove hex, ethreal light, then leech signet/ power drain for interrupts and energy.
Tahl can change from Restore Conditions, the elite protection one that heals and gives 10 energy back if under 50% health, or life sheathe. Reversal of fortune, protective spirit, the one condition prot skill if not RC, then the 2 mesmer interrupts also.

My heroes have tried all those and used them succesfully, as the user above posted.

They don't use ZB right.....

I've seen my heroes spam ZB on party members who were above 50% health so that's off limits for them now. I've tried WoH too and they don't seem to care about the condition for that one either, using it as any other heal. I run LoD on Tahlkora (she's my healing monk) most of the time since even if she doesn't always use it at the right time, chances are someone in the party will benefit from it.

The only elites I trust my monk heroes with are Expel Hexes and Signet of Removal. I tried Divert Hexes, but the 10 energy is too much for them to manage especially since they'll use it as often as it comes up if there is a hex present. Restore Condition had similar problems, use it on recharge if there is a condition present so they wouldn't spend time doing much else besides removing conditions until they're drained of energy. Zealous Benediction and Word of Healing; in the time I used them the 50% conditional wasn't something they'd wait for.

I don't know what your talking about, because my tahlkora used zealous benediciton right every time. She even used it to heal minions as I run from battle to battle right as it reaches below 50%. Maybe she used it before you were 50% but another hero/monk healed you and so it didn't count?
Lutae
Even without the 50% condition, WoH is still a superior heal to most other heals, so there's no problem with not waiting for health to drop below 50%.
Besides which, deliberately not healing is a rather stupid thing to do.

If you're in an area where people are dying fast, they do tend to use ZB well because by the time the ZB lands the target is under 50%.
Likewise, they use RC well when people get stacked with deadly conditions frequently, like your entire teem bleeding and poisoned.. Step on a dust trap though and watch what happens.
They really can't screw up LoD, unless you put something like healing whisper on their bar, I've seen them spam then when LoD was more needed due to its low recharge.

I have both Dunkoro and Tahlkora set to avoid combat. I may be wrong about this but it seems to reduce the amount of fire that they draw.
Then they both use the elite 'Peace and Harmony' . At 16 Divine Favor and with a +20% enchant they get 5 pips of energy regen for just short of 2 minutes. If it gets stripped it is quickly put back on - and they keep it on, all the time. I know it is not considered to be a good elite for energy management, but with heroes I find it works very well indeed. They just never have an energy shortage.

peace and harmony is bad.
LoD and RC are my go to slots, and they both use power drain and leech sig for energy management.

I actually used Glimmer of Light before....but now I don't use monk heroes anyway. The henchmen are rather good, which allows me to stack a lot of damage in my heroes.
Coloneh
mine always have MoR. its the only energy management that they understand.

Quick question: Will heroes use power drain or leech sig if theyre on avoid combat?
Brian the Gladiator
I always use these two builds whenever I have 2 healer heroes in my party and it works AWSOME!!!

They use the aegis chain to perfection, I keep them on defend in order for them to use power drain effectivly (there is no need to put on avoid because when on defend, they still kite from attackers). what worked as well was having both monks be Mo/N and have blood rit so that they could BR eachother. Sounds kinda unorthadocs but it worked so you can't really argue with success.
Edit: I keep Rebirth "Shift-clicked" at all times so that they wont use it during a fight.

They have to be on guard or attack from my experience.
