Hello everyone,
I was not sure if this was supposed to go here, or the Campfire, so if I have been mistaken by where I placed this topic, please forgive me, I am sorry.

The point of this topic is to ask you about skills that evade and/or block. If you used two of them at once, would they stack together to give you even greater protection? I will give you an example.

Say I use Aegis and Natural Stride. Since they both provide a 50% chance to block attacks, would they add together to give you 100% chance to block attacks if used together?

Thank you.

They stack, but not in the way you'd think. I don't know why but 50% and 50% chance to block adds up to 75% to block. Also, no need to mention evade because it was removed from the game a month or so ago.

Evade got removed from the game precisely because it didn't stack with "block".

Hope this helps.

I don't think blocks stack up. Unless it says blocks all attacks you are going to get hit by an attack sooner or later.

And there is no evading anymore it is only blocking.

It stacks this way.
50% blocks half the attacks. Of those half that aren't blocked, the second bonus blocks 50% of that (or 25% of the total). Thus 2 50% blocks block 75% of the time (1x.5 + .5x.5 = .75).

Hawk got it right, if you have two skills that give you 50% to block , you have 2 50% chances to block.Easy as that.
