nightfall gold + deathbane mod = no inscription??

In the last 2 days i got 3 golds from nightfall chests that had a deathbane mod and *no* inscriptionslot (which, imo, makes them useless)...

I play a lot, also open plenty of chests, and never noticed a nightfall gold without inscriptionslot before. However after getting these 3 golds, all with a deathbane mod, i start to think this is no coincidence anymore (more likely a bug).

Anyone else noticed the same thing??

Today I got a Skull Flatbow from an Ancient Elonian Chest with a Deathbane mod and it also had no inscription slot.
