Making a Guild

I tried making a guild before, and my friends who were helping me with it left and joined other guilds. So, I was wondering how hard is it for me to make a guild and have it be sucessful? Is it almost impossible to make a guild these days?

A lot of the good player in both PvE and PvP haved been picked up by other guilds. My guild along with two others who have been in the same alliance just merged into one, we only took the best from the three and left the others to continue their play with their current alliance. Its far too hard to start a guild from scratch...you need friends who are willing to work to help themselves and the guild as a whole.
