Guild Wars 2.

I'd like to ask if the developers of "Guild Wars 2" are taking suggestions from us gamers or answering our questions. This is not related to expansions to Guild Wars 1 like Factions or Nightfall.

First and foremost amongst my questions is; will there be an option to port our Guild Wars 1 characters to the new campaign? It would be a great incentive for all of us to move from GW1 to GW2 if we could take all of our characters we have spent so much time on into the new game. If it is going to be possible what exactly will be ported with the character? Equipment? Skills? Gold? XP?

About Guild Wars 2's Engine, will it support DX10 and below or will it be DX9 and below only? Have you bought a license to use the unreal,valve or another engine or have you built your own.

I hope that this will get a discussion started, I'd like to open up the floor...

How would we know?

GW2 isn't officially announced yet. WE don't even know if it is being made at all or even started yet.
Developers are not as likely to come on here and answer the questions themselves.

The character port form GW1 to GW2 is something that is still being debated amongst the forum members here with good points and ideas on both sides on why and how the port should or should not be done. (I think that covers all the bases :P)

As far as graphic updates to DX9 or DX10? That is a guess on what could be done and wont be answered for a while.

Lastly, try the Riverside area of the forum. There are discussions about GW2 there already. If not closed yet.

Can everyone please just leave Guild Wars 2 alone until more information is release. Its like pestering Sony about the Playstation 4....

I am seeing a rediculous amount of threads on it and as far as im concerned it wont be release for several years now.

At the moment we have no information as to any details on GW2. Therefore there is no possible discussion here and any "answer's" we could come up with to these question's are pure speculation and theory and our opinion's. Thus..
