Best Place to farm for Bones and Tanned Hide Squares?

Necromancer mobs that drop bone staves, and Charr for easy salvageable leather drops.
But, I find it hard to be more precise because unlike other games it's difficult to nail down where most items are likely to drop in higher quantities.

Check these pages on the wiki, which tell you what drops them or items that salvage into them.

You can farm a huge amount of bones by soloing the D'Alessio Seaboard mission. The majority of the mobs you meet are undead which either drop bones or drop items that can be salvaged into bones. When you get to the Temple of Tolerance you have to defend Confessor Dorian from wave after wave of lvl 11 - 16 undead. It helps if you can dish out holy damage as this gives double damage against undead - this makes it really easy, and you can get nice healing if you stay close to the Temple. Dorian himself is a pretty good lvl 20 monk and he has a couple of lvl 15 White Mantle to help you.
This is my favourite easy farming spot as you are using NPC's to help you and they don't steal your drops!
