How do I insert a picture into my posts?

Not a link to a picture but a picture on my post.

address goes in the middle

I inserted [img][/img] into my thread... didnt add the picture in though.

What are all the steps.

err, I don't think you can embed an image like that if it's an attachment.
upload it to imageshack

it'll give you the address of the pic
use the very last address on the page that says direct link to image then add the img tags

did that above and it only added the link

The moral of the story is, don't try to embed an attachment in a post. Upload to imageshack.
