Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere else...
I kind get ticked when I want to switch to another character for like 5 seconds but then have to go through the whole process of closing GW, typing in my password, choosing the character I want, and then going to the loading screen and then on top of all that bringing my character to the location where needed.
Is there any way Anet can hook us up with something more convienent?

It has already been done.
When you click log out..you are given an option to change characters now.

When you want to switch char, hit f12 or log out, you will see "charecter" between yes & no in the comfirmation window. Now carefully click on "charecter" and you will be able to go right to the charecter select screen.

You can also press "C" to do it from the logout screen - it's been given a hotkey now.

Yeah, F12, C choosing your new character is the fastest way. The only thing that will determine your switching speed that way is your connection speed.

Or if you close Guild Wars out and don't want to put in your password everytime you log back on to the client, you can always add the -password command line to the Guild Wars Shortcut. Just right click the shortcut, go to properties and add it. It should look something like this:
"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\gw.exe" -password xxxx (where xxxx is your actual password)
Of course if you installed GW in a different area rather than the default area, it will be that. I personally wouldn't recommend this option if you share a computer or anything like that since it will accessible for anyone to see if they just right click the shortcut and go to Properties. If you are the only one to use your computer, then it is sometimes convenient so you don't have to type it in every time you load up guild wars.
If you are actually wihin the game and want to switch characters very quick, just do what everyone else is saying and hit any of the keys to log out and choose "Character" rather than Yes/No. Trust me...a lot of us remember how it used to be awhile back before they implemented this. This and reconnects are still one of my favorite updates they made.

Just woke, up, 8.30 am, and this is the first thing I read. Im roffling so hard I have water coming out of my eyes.
How you can not have ever pressed the log out button and seen the box that says 'character' in the last month or two is beyond reason.
Unless you always press the 'X' button in the top right corner, which is even slower then logging out entirely to the password screen.
Again, ROFFLECOPTA.

I deleted a few post's as they were not constructive, helpful and were down right rude/offensive. In future, if you have nothing to say that would be helpful and/or constructive then please don't post in that thread.
