Why I doubt the speculation of playable races is false

If you look at the top of the page, where the flash animation is, the character is an unseen type of profession. That suggests they will not be making new races but continuing with the addition of professions.

Notice how the background is similar to places we've seen. It is closest to factions.

Then again it could just be another warrior armor skin.

That's a Kurzick warrior and there's already a thread discussing that graphic.

And who says that they cant add new professions in addition to playable races?

yeah it is Kurzick armor worn by NPCs, it is in the Factions artbook as a sketch and its identical to the armor in the cinematic except no helmet

As already pointed out, that is the Kurzick warrior armor.
