Well, I guess for this one weekend, Taiwanese and Japanese players will finally catch a glimpse of the game content that has been pretty much consistently blocked off for them.
Too bad they probably won't get to see it again afterwards.
What's your problem? You want your PvP access restricted if PvE players don't kill enough monsters? Why should PvE have to rely on PvP?

I bet at the beginning they fully intended to have an area for all the gods. But then they realized they had 6 months to get the next campaign ready.

Ecto won't fall by much. Many people will take this chance to farm ecto for their FoW, if they are saving the ecto that means the trader isn't getting any.

If they made FoW and UW opened all the time, it would screw trading all together for awhile. Not only that but FoW armor wouldnt be and acomplishment like it is.

Finally I get to see what these areas look like. I don't have the time to set around hoping America will gain favor. I don't mind the cost to enter, but the favor system sucks. After this weekend they should ditch the favor system.

I don't mind the 1k to get in, i DO mind the favor, as nowadays America rarely got favor. And many many players have too much to care for in real life, instead of sitting about waiting for some dudes to win Halls -_-
I like to see it open at all times, so people with family, work, school, whatever, anyone could get in when they want and can, out of their own personal reasons.

I'm going to be dual farming like crazy for those last ecto I need for FoW armor. And I'm hoping the price of ecto drop so that those I don't get myself I can buy for cheaper prices.
I hate the favour system, don't see why PvP has to influence PvE when there is no relationship in the opposite direction. However I've brought it up when Gaile is around for chats in Kamadan and she didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with the current system. And no, I don't want to listen to trashtalk in PvP just so I can do an area in PvE. The two should not be linked.

For the PvP:ers do not rely on other PvE players in any way.
How about you could only enter HA and gain fame if PvE players from your region did well in a special mission. If that was the case PvP:ers would burst into hellfire flames if they were relying on PvE:ers. But, PvE players must accept the fact that they rely on PvP:ers
I have PvPed some, I've won halls back in the days, but i'm not a dedicated PvPer. And i'm not speaking for myself only when i say i want the realms open regardless of favor, many share this opinion.

it will be fun for me and my guildies to use B/P in UW. We (2 players + 6 heroes) cleared most of the UW (except the Smites - SoJ owns our MM) in 1:30 to 2 hours I think. Maybe a bit less dont remember. only 2 ectos for 2 of us. I believe most ectos are stolen by our heroes
as I think B/P build is great for UW, why dont we BP in UW instead of Tomb this weekend as most monters in UW drop ectos, unlike 2,3 ectos max drop in Tomb per run?
