Thanks for the help .Please help with a few more basic questions. What's the diff. between a Cuirass and a Hauberk? you can only have one right ?And what's with Insignia's ?I bought a hero one and it says it attaches to armor-I can't attach it to anything -it just stays on the screen.Last, do I need to join a guild or is that for online people-which I'm not.Because nobody asked me and I'd like a cape.

Insignia can only be used on armor purchased in Elona. To use it, you dbl-click the insignia and then click on the piece of armor you want to apply it to.

Cuirass - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuirass
Hauberk - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hauberk

In the game, there is no actual difference between the two.

In regards to the armor - thats what the icons are for in the armor screen. You can see they both go on your chest.

As for insignias - you have a good point there because Rune Traders from every continent sell insignias, but you can only use them on Elonian armor.

Guilds? Thats your choice. Guilds are just a means to have like-minded people gather together to communicate and play together. Lots of guilds recruit, but the safest way to find a good guild is to joing groups with people as you play through the game and if you find someone who you get along with, then ask them about the guild they may be in. At least that way you know there will be at least one person you like. =) (Also, you can make your own guild for 100g, and afterwards create your own cape for 2000g)

It does not really matter.
Armor in GW, comes in 5 pieces.
Head
Chest
Hands
Waist
Feet

For each profession, its named differently but it does not matter what the name is. What matter is what piece it is. And its easy to find out from the icon to know what part the piece goes to. Also you can just double click on it and it will be equipped in the correct body part.
