Dragon's Lair from Cantha

Hi, I have a Rt/W in Cantha and would like to cap the skill Gladiator's Defense. I have ascended in Factions but i'm not sure how to get to Dragon's Lair from Lions Arch (can i just run there?).

Hope i dont have to ascend in tyria (so annoying)

From Lion's Arch you can either follow the missions in order from D'Alessio Seaboard or you can get a run to 'Sanctum Cay' (Lions Arch> Hot Springs> Temple of Ages> Fishermans Haven> Sanctum Cay) You'll need to do that mission to get access the Crystal Desert and Amnoon Oasis. From there I'm afraid you'll need to ascend, meaning doing the three missions Dunes of Despair, Thirsty River and Elona's Reach. Once done, kill your dopple and you should be in the Dragons Lair.

no you have to ascend like everyone else, get to there by going to sanctum cay, do the mission, end up in ammoon oasis, do the ascension missions, get to dragons lair, cap skill done.

Yep, Alexis is correct. You have to wander in the desert for a bit first. It's not too bad. If you really don't want to spend the time on the desert missions, there are plenty of runners in the area willing to run you thru the mission for a small fee. (No, i'm not one of them. Don't ask). It just depends on the type of player you are. Would you rather hang onto your gold and do the missions yourself or save time and spend gold on a runner.

Also once you reach Dragon's Lair you'll have access to the Tombs of the Primeval Kings as well which is always a fun area to explore.
