Hi All
Im getting a new pc that comes with an integrated GeForce 6150LE. The pc has an open PCI Express slot so my question is does anyone know a video card in the price range of say 200 to 250 dollars that will run the game well? Or even if that chip will run it ok? Thanks in advance.

Define "well". Maxed out? No. Maybe low graphics and max resolution should be fine.

By well I mean at least some bells and whistles. Like medium graphics at least. PC Has Athlon X2 Proc, 2gig of ram and Vista Home Premium if that helps.

If you can run Aero, I bet you can run GW good, too.

Your current video card will run the game very well, if i can get medium quality(no AA) out of a GMA900, im sure you can get better qith your 6150. Otherwise if you really want something with dedicated video memory, you can go with a GeForce 7600 256mb or the ATI equivalent it will run the game well with all bells and whistles turned on.

Thanks folks. Really appreciate the input. I will just try the onboard vid first before I go spend more hard earned dough.

stick with the on board for now
the new nVidia directx10 cards are coming out around April 14th. (8600, 8500 series) expected MSRP $150-180 so they are somewhat affordable, fits your price range and should have good performance.
they will definitely be able to max out GW and be decent, high performing graphic cards that can play all of todays games with relatively high settings as well as hold you over when the new wave of directx10 games come out.

The 6150 will run GW on medium settings on a 17" monitor with medium resolution at ~30-45fps on cable. That's what my husband is running upstairs. It's playable, relatively pretty and not laggy or choppy. (He has always turned things like shadows and reflections off, though. They bug him.)
